Weekly Reminder #8

Whether you hire a professional or just pull a few games
out, your guests will appreciate a little entertainment.
If you really want your party to be special, hiring
entertainment can make a huge impact. Here is a list of
ideas you may want to consider:
- Palm Reader or Fortune Teller: Foreseeing a
positive future is every graduate’s wish.
- Caricaturist: What a fun gift for all of your
graduate’s fellow students, family and friends. This is
very popular with the kids.
- Handwriting Analyst: Offers an intriguing
look at your personality.
- Clown: Yuck it up with some pranks.
- D.J.: Dance the night away to a preselected
list of your graduate's favorites.
- Musicians: Live bands are extremely popular
with the graduates. If rock n’ roll is not your
graduate’s style, how about a jazz trio, a pianist,
harpist or vocalists?
- Face Painter: School logos, shooting stars,
or symbols from school activities would be popular for
the students (and your smaller guests would love it,
too). Tell the artist what your school colors are so
they don’t run out of that color during your party.
- Karaoke D.J.: Are your graduate’s friends
idol wanna-bes? Make sure you’ve got some volunteers
lined up to get things rolling. It only takes a couple
of people to break the ice and the guests will be
fighting for the microphone.
- Comedian: Lighten-up the occasion and add
laughter to your party with a comedian who can deliver a
stand-up act tailor-made for your grad.
- Inflatables like a moon walk can be rented.
Reserve early!
- Graduate Trivia Contest: Ask the graduate to
answer ten questions. See list of questions at the end
of this email.
- Games: Casino style, sports or carnival games
are popular choices. You can rent a dunk tank,
electronic basketball, speed pitch, 9-hole mini golf,
golf challenge, soccer challenge, volleyball, croquet,
bocce ball, or horse shoes.
- Photographer/Videographer: Capture this
special event with the help of a professional who can
stroll around the party and ask the guests to pose with
your graduate. The videographer can also solicit
impromptu advice for the graduate form all the guests.
- Rent a Photo Booth: Your guests will be
entertained and you get a great collection of
photographs. If you're in Minneapolis check out a
company called
Mobile Photo Booth.
- Keep in touch activity for all the graduates
who attend. Offer to produce a "directory" that will
list their addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses
and other pertinent information. Give graduates
postcards addressed to you so they can write when they
have their new addresses, etc. Hire a professional
photographer to come to the party for a group shot of
all of the graduating friends.
- Board games like checkers or a deck of cards.
Life, Clue, Candyland and Chutes n’ Ladders add a
nostalgic touch.
- Yard games like horseshoes, volleyball bocce
and croquet . Rental companies offer a wide variety of
fun out door activities. Check out our web site for
ideas and companies in your area.
- Magician: Choose either a stage show or
strolling performer to compliment a “Magic of Life”
theme.
- Make a Toast to the graduate.

options:
Casino Games from Las Vegas Tonight, MN
